Halloween!

Yes, I know I'm several days past Halloween, and extremely late in posting these. Things have been crazy with Superstorm Sandy coming through, then with eight days straight of rain, etc. So, without further ado..

Pumpkin Carving!

Today was the 2nd Annual pumpkin carving at Rich and Sammy's house. There weren't as many pumpkins as last year, but it was still a GREAT time. Kind of crazy too. Since all the kids now have kids, there were EIGHT children 4 and under there. EIGHT! Craziness. We carved pumpkins, ate good food, and the kids got to play in a huge leaf pile. Great day.

Well, tonight was a GREAT night. Cold and wet, but otherwise great! The kids got a LOT of candy. Now, without further ado:

So, tonight we carved our pumpkins. Yes, we're always late in doing this. Anyway, we had a good time. Alvin actually got involved with cleaning this time. Yay!

Pumpkin Carving Part One!

Today Rich and Sammy had their 1st Annual Family Pumpkin Carve! They had TONS of homegrown pumpkins of all sizes. It was awesome. A few members of the family weren't present, but we sort of expected it. We were disappointed to not get to see our other nieces, but it is what it is. Regardless, we had a GREAT time with Matt, Ashley, Nicole, and the kids. Emali wasn't in attendance as she was at a Halloween party at a friend's.

Yep, I know I'm a tad bit early, but ya'll I am ready for the holiday season to get started. So, tonight while watching TV, I made TWO, yes 2! different wreaths for Halloween! Sorry, no how-tos as I got so into what I was doing I didnt take pics of the different steps. Sorry. :(

While I like both of these wreaths, I absolutely LOVE the feather wreath. I think it may be my favorite craft yet!

Happy Halloween

The kids had a good night. It was unbareably cold out tonight, so we only lasted about 25 mins trick or treating before the kids wanted to go home. They still managed to get quite a bit of candy.
