Our tree is up!

We went Saturday afternoon to get our tree. However, since we have a new cat this year, and he's a bit of a spaz, we have had it set up in the living room bare for a few days. Today, we took the time to put lights on and decorate it. Hemi (the cat) seems to be ignoring it for now. Let's hope it stays that way.

Thanksgiving Number Two!

Today we had Thanksgiving at my parents' house. My Dad had to work, so he missed out. The kids had a great time. We stuffed ourselves!

Soccer Game Seven

It was cold ya'll. COLD. C-O-L-D!! 42 degrees when we left the house to head to the game. FOURTY-TWO!!! Em wore both pieces of her UnderArmor, a headband, and some gloves. Unfortunately, I wasnt feeling all that well and ended up leaving the game during halftime. Because of that, I dont know the final score, but I do know that we lost. No big suprise there and the team is quite used to it at this point.

LONG weekend

We had a wonderfully enjoyable LONG weekend. We spent it cleaning out the garage, watching movies, playing the Wii, and just spending time together as a family. We ended the long weekend by heading out to Bluff Point. It was such a nice day today we couldnt resist. Below are some pictures from that. The girls and I also spent some time tonight making Halloween wreaths. They wont be fully dry until tommorrow, so I'll post about them then.

Emali was backtalking her Daddy something fierce, so he told her to go sit and think about the amount of backtalking she was doing. Mind you, this meant she had to stop playing. I think I captured the full nature of the 'look' that was directed her Daddy's way.

Just for good nature, I am throwing in a picture of our Great Protector. Toby stood and watched as the girls got off the bus yesterday. Everyday he waits for them.

He came up with a better idea. Apparently, the trampoline is more comfortable than the porch. Silly pets!
