Insects and Dinosaurs
Well, our sack of praying mantis babies hatched over the week. We were so excited to see that they had hatched. Now, I know that a lot of you are wondering why we would be happy to see ~30 praying mantis babies. Simply put, they are a beneficial species for insect elimination. As they grow, they will help to regulate the 'bad' bugs around the area.
One of the praying mantis babies. They are very tiny. Maybe 1/4 of an inch big.
In other news, we headed to The Dinosaur Place, at Nature's Art today. We took Em's BFF along with us. We saw around 20 different species of dinosaurs, played on the playground, and then went inside and saw the different flourescent rocks. All in all, it was a good day.
